Erasmus+ at ISBA TP

The Erasmus+ programme (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is a European Union initiative enabling students to study or complete an internship abroad.

International Openness at the Heart of ISBA TP

ISBA TP, an engineering school specializing in building and civil works, is developing an international outreach strategy in line with the challenges facing the construction sector.

As part of the Erasmus+ program, ISBA TP is committed to structuring and strengthening the mobility of its students and staff, as well as its academic and professional partnerships at European and international level.

These experiences help train engineers capable of working in a globalised environment, integrating the technical, environmental and intercultural dimensions of the construction professions.

Our Erasmus+ Objectives

Through its participation in the Erasmus+ programme, ISBA TP aims to:

  • Develop the internationalisation of its civil engineering and construction programmes
  • Promote the sharing of skills and innovations in sustainable construction
  • Structure and expand its academic and professional partnerships
  • Strengthen the employability of its graduates at an international level
  • Integrate ecological transition challenges into its teaching practices
  • Develop collaborative international projects
  • Facilitate student, academic and administrative mobility within a structured framework

Student Mobility

International Studies

ISBA TP, which enjoys strong international recognition, currently has a large pool of applications coming primarily from Africa, the Middle East, and Central/South America. In order to structure this recruitment process, ISBA TP aims to integrate into the Erasmus+ programme.

Furthermore, as part of the continued development of ISBA TP’s programmes, study periods at a partner institution will be offered, enabling:

  • Integration into equivalent programmes (civil engineering, construction, building and public works)
  • Academic recognition through the ECTS system
  • Individualised academic support

Internships Abroad

Internship mobility also enables students to develop international professional experience.

  • Companies in the construction sector, design offices, and engineering firms
  • Assignments related to construction, project management or innovation
  • Experience that adds value to the work-study pathway

Staff Mobility

ISBA TP encourages the mobility of its teaching and administrative teams:

  • Teaching assignments at partner institutions
  • Training and professional practice exchanges across Europe and internationally
  • Development of pedagogical collaborations

International Partnerships

ISBA TP draws on a network of academic partners formalised through agreements internationally, including:

North Africa and Africa

  • EPI Sousse (Tunisie)
  • ULT – Université Libre de Tunis (Tunisie)
  • UMMTO (Algérie)
  • ESUPJ (Burkina Faso)
  • ENSPD (Cameroun)
  • EMG (Maroc)
  • UM6P – Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (Morocco)

Informal partnerships are also maintained with schools in Central Africa, from which most of our international students originate (polytechnic schools, Conception, 2IE, etc.)

Middle East

  • LIU – Lebanese International University (Liban)
  • ULF – Université Libanaise Française (Liban)
  • AUST – American University of Science and Technology (Liban)
  • USJ – Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (Liban)

Partnership Development

As part of its Erasmus+ strategy, ISBA TP is now directing the development of its partnerships towards:

  • Europe: Romania, Poland, Italy
  • International: Canada, China, Thailand

This dynamic aims to strengthen both incoming and outgoing mobility, and to establish the school as a lasting participant in a structured international academic network.

Erasmus+ Funding

Erasmus+ mobility allows participants to benefit from financial support from the European Union. This grant helps cover:

  • Travel costs
  • Accommodation and living expenses
  • Mobility-related expenditure

The amount is determined based on the destination country and the duration of the stay.
