Questions and answers about our engineering school in Marseille

General information

WHY GO TO A SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING SCHOOL?

Initial engineering schools as well as university masters 2 programs provide an increasingly general education. Graduates therefore have a wide range of skills in many fields. Attending a specialization school allows students to acquire more specialized skills in certain fields, in this case civil engineering, through pragmatic teaching provided by professionals who are partners in the program.

Students graduating from ISBA TP are therefore more quickly operational in companies and can expect to develop their careers more quickly. Their integration is all the more rapid as the school has strong partnerships with companies in the construction engineering sector.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING SCHOOL AND A SPECIALIZED MASTER?

Specialization engineering schools deliver an engineering degree recognized by the State thanks to their certification by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs (CTI). There are 5 specialized engineering schools in France recognized by the CTI. This recognition allows students to have their diploma recognized internationally.

The hourly volume of courses given at ISBA TP is 1,110 hours over 9 months followed by 6 months of internship. The training gives the right to 90 ECTS credits. For more information, ask for the details of our programs!

The specialized masters are accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. They also provide a high level of specialized training spread over approximately 400 to 500 hours of courses for 75 ECTS credits.
